Job Description:
WellnessWorks, a business development and health promotion corporation is seeking a Service Coordinator for it's Picayune, MS office. This position involves the coordination of employee health services in a multi-state region. The successful candidate will possess the following skills and experience.
Good command of the English language, including medical terminology.
Good computer skills and accurate typing/data entry skills.
Excellent and effective interpersonal and communication skills.
Ability to handle a high volume of telephone calls.
Demonstrated ability to problem solve and function as a resource to other members of the team including patients, healthcare providers, employers, adjusters, and case managers.
Schedule patient appointments, diagnostic testing, referrals and other employee health issues and secure appropriate approvals/authorizations.
Medical Assistant or LPN Preferred for Service coordinators.
