Job Description:

WellnessWorks, a business development and health promotion corporation is seeking a Service Coordinator for it's Picayune, MS office. This position involves the coordination of employee health services in a multi-state region. The successful candidate will possess the following skills and experience.

  • Good command of the English language, including medical terminology.
  • Good computer skills and accurate typing/data entry skills.
  • Excellent and effective interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to handle a high volume of telephone calls.
  • Demonstrated ability to problem solve and function as a resource to other members of the team including patients, healthcare providers, employers, adjusters, and case managers.
  • Schedule patient appointments, diagnostic testing, referrals and other employee health issues and secure appropriate approvals/authorizations.
  • Medical Assistant or LPN Preferred for Service coordinators.
  • Occupational health/workers' compensation experience highly preferred.
